When new college students join our faith family, they often bring a fresh new vibe to the group. Still, one of the challenges we are now faced with is bridging the gap between new out of town students and our home-grown students who are away for school.
Currently, we have students away at Franklin-Marshall (Lancaster, PA), Drexel (Philadelphia, PA), Rensler-Polytechnic (Albany, NY), and UMD College Park. When these students come home for break, our out of state students are away for break. In order for these students to meet and develop a relationship, we have to be intentional in creating opportunities for them to fellowship.
Today, we started with a lunch at Elder Shin’s place, where returning students and out-of-state students could meet and fellowship. It was a blessed time and we look forward to more opportunities for intentional unity in the Spring semester not only for our college students, but for the entire Gospel Life family!
